The local news had some advice on what to do if you're caught in a stampede while shopping Friday. I don't know whether to be proud or disgusted.

A little of both
I am proud that the Keynesian economics hasn't completely destroyed our economy yet, and that the market is still robust enough to stave off the inevitable Austrian end-game, if at least for another day.
I am disgusted at the cashless society rampant consumerism that presents a moral hazard to the plebeians, buy now... debt regret later. Seems like a fractal scale microcosm of how our whole monetary system works.
