Rock, Paper, Saddam

Wondering how the Saddam trial has been faring? Wonder no more.

Of course, Saddam is not the first tyrannical dictator to play fast and loose with the sacred rules of Rock Paper Scissors:

The Soviet Union rose up against the world of RPS (and the Society) by declaring that in their country, Rock would now beat paper. It was seen as radical defiance of all known conventions of the game. The Soviet Union attempted to spread its influence within every local chapter of the World RPS Society urging revolution and open mistrust of the World RPS Society's Steering Committee. Luckily, a quick intervention by the members of the Society's Retired Veterans Committee lead to the Soviet Union backing down on its demands.
