Comments: Big story of this week was the unmasking of Kansas State and Michigan, both dropping out of the Top 10. Georgia wasn't unmasked per se, but the generally poor play of the SEC lately led to their precipitous drop after losing to LSU. Texas, embarassed by Arkansas last week, jumps right back into the rankings based mainly off the strength of their name and conference. The aberration which was Texas Tech's #4 ranking has been corrected by events on the field. Congrats to Northern Illinois, which has pulled some upsets and peeks into the Top 25 for the first time. Virginia Tech's win over A&M sends their stock through the floor, which is perhaps too harsh of a judgement on A&M, which played an excellent game despite the loss.
